Learning from the past: conference report out now
This is where we would put the date of the news release
Meeting at the Salvation Army Regent Hall, Oxford Street, London, on Wednesday 15 November 2006, architects, education specialists, heritage professionals, councillors, and policy makers explored the role that historic school buildings had to play in modern education.
They considered the implications of Building Schools for the Future, the biggest programme of investment in educational buildings for many years, for some of our most valued community buildings. Speakers included Mukund Patel (DfES), Tim Brennan (English Heritage), and Professor Roy Lowe (Institute of Education).
